I have a 2011 Hunter 50 AC and am in need of a battery tray for one of my house batteries as it is cracked. I have 8D house batteries and cannot seem to find a battery tray anywhere? Suggestions?

Thank you for the advice however I just need a plastic box that is maybe 3"tall. The boxes on the site you sent are more than I need but appreciate the direction. The low cost battery box without using the top is what I am looking for, again hard to find.

Suggest an internet search on 21" x 11" x 3" plastic tray like a Heavy Duty Cut Kit Tray, 21.3″L x 11.0″W x 2.8″H for $4.39 then screw straps on each side to hold the tray and battery in place. Heavy Duty Cut Kit Tray, 21.3"L x 11.0"W x 2.8"H - Brite Ideas Aquaponics, Hydroponics & Organics (bihydro.com)
OR buy 1/2" thick fiberboard from your local retail plastic supply shop and fabricate your own with stainless steel screws. I did that for an ice tray on my powerboat u-line ice maker.

A cracked battery shouldn't be a problem. It only leaks sulphuric acid which will eat through wood, flesh and anything else that gets in it's way :yikes:. Remove the battery today !

A battery box for each individual battery would be the recommended way to go.
