What do others do for securing the batteries? I have recently purchased a Hunter 35.5 Legend and presently the batteries are not secured. I have 2 golf cart batteries for the house and one group 27 for starting. The PO had put them in the black battery boxes and had straps, but those turned to mush and I cleaned the area up. I am getting ready for another cruise and really need to address this. On this boat the batteries are in a location where there is ample room, but access to underneath might be challenging to provide a solid bolt/washer combination.
