Battery switch maintenance

I had to remove the battery switch as part of another upgrade job I am doing. Its a standard 1, 2, Both switch. While it is disconnected is there any cleaning/servicing required to the internal switching contacts (the parts you can't see or access without dismantling the switch)? Thanks, Kevin

Battery Switch

I happen to have my 15 yr. old Perco apart, replacing the leads from the battery. First time Ive seen the inside of it and everything is fine, although it is in quite an exposed location. If the knob is tight and moves smoothly, you are most likely OK.
