Battery meter on Ray102 VHF

I have the Ray 102 VHF and also the Apelco version. On both of these the battery meter never shows all three bars after recharging. I have had these radios for about a year now. I know there is a way to get into the programming of these units but do not remember how or the steps required to adjust the battery meters. Is there a book that I can get that would have these procedures?Thanks,Dan

There is a procedure for doing this. I would suggest calling Raymarine's techsupport desk with the radio in hand. 800 539 5539 .This way they can either go throuth the procedure with you or maybe e-mail or fax you the procedure.Eighty percent of this radios battery life is spent on 2 bar range, but there is the procedure for some slight adjustment.
