Bought new batteries end of season last year. Have solar panels. When returned to boat this year, full charge on batteries. Engine turned right over with no usual cranking noise. Delightful! Turned on all house systems. Great. Still full charge. Installed new Isotherm Compact Classic 12 volt refrigerator which replaced old refrigerator system 12 years old. Ran very nicely. When on, uses 6 amps to start and maintains at 3 amps. Ran like this for 2 weeks. Now batteries seem to be draining. Refrigerator wired through main panel. Have battery drainage. Troubleshooting at this point. Refrigerator only new item. Any suggestions? Should I be looking elsewhere? Checked all wires. No loose connections on ground or wiring. Thanks!

You didn't say how much solar panels you put up. Are you getting cloudy/rainy days, which don't help much in chargeing with solar. How many amps are being used when the batts are "draining"? Do you have a battery monitoring system?

Did you run for two weeks without battery drainage ?

What indicates you have drainage ............ battery monitor or just low voltage ?

If you can supply a few more details about your electrical system, this might help in troubleshooting the problem.
