AG: I have the Charles marine 3 bank charger and have yet to have a problem with it. I've had it over 3 years and it runs 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. If it did poop out on me I would buy another one. The are one of the few chargers that are specifically designed for the marine enviorment. Originally I had a Guest charger and when I installed it my live aboard dock neighbor came over to ask me if I was having any problems with TV reception as his set was now full of lines. I told him I wasn't having any problems but never said anything about the Guest unit. As soon as he left, I then disconnected the unit and he yelled over that his picture just cleared up!!Additionally, the Guest was very loud whereas you can hardley hear the Charles. Like anything mechanical or electrical, they don't last forever.
