I need instructions for the proper connecting of an on-board battery charger to both batteries. The charger was previously installed on my boat and I want to be sure it is connected properly so that both batteries can be charged. The charger is a West Marine 10 amp model. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know the charger first hand, but usually, if there are two or more "channels" (for different batteries), there will be a wire connection for each. Multi-channel chargers usually share a ground. To be on the safe side, use a volt meter (or even a lamp bulb) to test for current on each. The 110 volt side should be straight forward.
