Charger works fine, has optional plug in module for 3 stage charging and floats at 0.2 or 0.3 amps at 13.6 volts when batts are fully charged.
I think he meant he threw out his Xantrex, they have a pretty good history of problems, and he replaced it with an IOTA brand charger.I am confused.... you threw it out, but yet you ????
have an "Iota" 30 amp......Okay now it makes some sense.I think he meant he threw out his Xantrex, they have a pretty good history of problems, and he replaced it with an IOTA brand charger.
I prefer the Sterling Pro-Charge Ultra, ProMariner Pro-Nautic P or the Mastervolt chargers... These are all very good quality high performance marine chargers.
Installing a Marine Battery Charger (HOW TO)
Sorry, I didn't subscribe to this thread. Maine had it right. Iota came with boat. I replaced it with xantrex's sw 2000. After 2nd failure, I removed the xantrex and re installed the old Iota.onecoolair said:have an "Iota" 30 amp......Okay now it makes some sense.Never heard of a Iota? So it did not register.
