I have a 1999 H260. The battery is starboard behind the aft bunk. That location plus the motor on the same side causes a “slight” list to starboard. To thise of you who have a battery on the port, how have you run the cables to that side? Ideally I want to locate the battery under the port bunk. Any pics would help, thanks!!!

Does your boat have a porta poti on board or a real porcelain head on board? If not, there is a platform on the port side behind the rear berth. Is it being used?

My H26 had the bats to port

just take your existing electric lines and crimp on a few extra feet of wire

@rgranger

Did I put the second battery in? Where was the battery selector located? Cannot remember

The 260 has a platform that hunter installed for a crapper tank or waste tank which he could install a second battery there.

It had only one when I bought the boat but it was wired for two. I added a second. The switch was in the cockpit locker. The batteries were port behind the aft berth.

Yes I did install the battery selector in the port cockpit locker. There was a place for a second battery but owner said he would install the battery
