Where can I buy a fiberglass battery box for 2 27 type batteries similar to the stock box the new Hunters come with? I like the box because it is strong and you the top is flat so you can step on it as you go into the port storage compartment. thanks, abe

I bought a second box from Hunter through my dealership, but be prepared: they can be a bit pricey (about $150?). There are other units, some nice looking, hardy plastic ones, on the internet.

learn to fiberglass
At $150 you could buy enough resin and glass matt to build a small dingy. Building with fiberglass is not at all hard and there are many web-sites that can tell you how to get started. OBTW down the road you will have the skills to repair your boat and probably some left over resin and matt to do too. $$$$$$$$$ saved Bill Roosa
