Bamar furlers

I've got a Hunter 25.5 and am considering getting a Bamar C0 or competitive (Schaefer SnapFurl 700 (on sale for $665), Plastimo 608, or other in this price range) for next season. I'd get our current 150 converted. That would be the only sail on the roller system. We have wind mostly 8 - 12k but I also want to be able to reduce if it kicks up suddenly. (Carlyle is famous for that.) I'd like something that I can install myself or with minimal help. I've searched the archives and didn't come up with anything on Bamar or comparisons in this price range. Any comments on the Bamar or suggestions on other models?

Another option

is CDI. I have been looking at adding a furler and have noticed that a majority of boats at my marina use that brand. I believe its in the same price range as the snapfurl. Whatever you pick, share the experience as I would be interested in the input. Good Luck, Brent
