Bahia Boat question

Hi guys and gals,

I have been a good girl...so good I got a new dinghy:dance: and a 3hp Johnson/Evinrude motor for it.

We bought the Bahia boat dinghy off of Ebay, "brand new", untouched for a steal..here's the catch..no assembly or maintenance instructions were inlcluded. I tried contacting the ebayer that sold it to us and of course no response. I tried contacting the company via email and phone but no luck there.

If anyonne owns one can you tell me where the two small silver pieces go?
I am dying to try it out.

If no one has instructions. You can post some pictures of the pieces and suspected places on the dinghy they might go, I tihknk these guys will figure it out.

Laser Bahia

Presuming the boat to be a Laser Bahia, then you probably will be able to get a manual or rigging guide from the Laser Performance website. I have not checked for the Bahia, but I was able to do that for my new-to-me but old Laser.

I finally got a hold of someone from the company no response from the ebayer as of yet..but the email Bahia promised with the instructions never came through.

I couldn't help myself yesterday and went out to the Marina to try out my new toy and we finally figured out where the parts went. I had a good time in the Back Bay ....two dolphins surfaced probably wondering what that crazy lady was doing..I was just learning how to navigate the outboard motor. I got the hang of it and love it! Nice little dinghy with a 5 year warranty.


No its not a laser..its this www.bahiaboat.com note the Big B on an anchor on the front of the dinghy..perfect for me!

Yellow dinghy

I too bought a cheap yellow dinghy from Ebay but I got an 11 ft in stead of the 7'6" Plus the company refuses to get back to me. Problem, It' to big. Good part, I only paid $ 300.00. Oh Ya, The two metal parts hold the the back 3 floor pieces together. After you have the floor in place then fill all the air chambers just snap the 2 metal pc. along the outer edge so as it makes contact with all 3 floor panels. I hope this helped.
