Steve,Jan and Jim;
It's not the pump! Steve your advice to bleed through the front plug
of the injector pump and then the front most injector worked like a
charm. I owe you a beer if you ever make it to San Francisco.
So, what is it that the plug bleeds? Is it a suction flood chamber for
the pump's pistons? The manual I have does not say a thing about using
the plug as a bleeder.
Jan, Jim your advice was next in line and I really appreciated your
inputs.
Steve, I think you're right about the motor probably being a MD7A.
The person from whom I bought the boat said it was a MD7B but I have
not seen literature or any refernce to a Volvo motor with that
designation.
Anyway, mucho thanks for the help! I'll be out sailing this weekend.
