Well, I see there have been some visits to this Starwind forum, but no 'hits' so to speak. Must not have been Starwind owners, eh? Even so, I'll try to keep the forum fresh for lurkers, too. Who knows whence answers come? Here's my issue this week: rigging. My boat came with a single backstay... and a loose one at that. I snugged up the turnbuckle, when something caught my attentino. The point where the turnbuckle connects to the deck (sorry, can't think of the technical term right now; chainplate?) looks like it would actually accept another turnbuckle, as if the boat were meant to have a split backstay. Anyone have any knowledge of this? If I wanted a split backstay, could I simply order one from a rigging supplier? Thanks for any insights.
