This Easy modification to galley sink Hunter should have incorporated in there design back in the 1980s
I had a small sheet of dark smoked acrylic made by Tap plastics approximately 1/2 thick with five inch radius corners. Drilled four holes at the bottom and attached with stainless screws backed with stainless washers and rubber spacers.
Worked out great! Now no more water splashing and staining the cushions.
Total upgrade I believe was done for about $100 bucks and took about ten minutes to complete.
My dog shadow is the only one that doesn't like the up grade because he can't get to his dog treats on the counter anymore now.
