Back-up Battery Packs Reviews Anyone?

Hi all, Great to be back in the water and ready to go again after this seemingly endless winter here in the northeast. Hallalujah!!! :) Consdidering picking up one of these portable battery packs as a back-up diesel engine starting battery for my two-battery electrical system on our O'Day 30. Anyone out there been using one of these for diesel start-up on a 16 HP or thereabouts sized engine? Reviews by brand most welcome... Thanks and... Fair Winds, Jim

They are great

Jim, I have one. Starts 4 litre 8 cylinder cars (Lexus) and my 37 HP Yanmar diesel. Stays charged up for simply ages. Mine was a real cheapo three years ago so I don't know what you get if you spend real money. Regards,
