I would still like to have a dodger again has anyone got one to get rid of or have one they uses, I spend a lot of time on my boat and have always had a dodger Have had 2 other 25 but only hadbimini on them no standing room and I like the sun but Momma loves he dodger must keep her happy and then i can do as I please and does the mainsail sheet have to be moved back HELP, one more thank what about the 1/4 birth on he 25 does any use them to sleep in I am thinking of turning mine into a storage a barn and adding an extintion to the counter for a chart table that will fold up so I can get to the inbord HElP e mail ront@thefontshop.com

Rodger Dodger

Ron I have always had a dodger onboard, and use it quite alot in the fringe seasons of sailing and to duck under during a squall. I will be replacing mine probably in March or April and your welcome to it for the price of shipping. Its about 12 years old (hunter green) and well worn but if anything you can use it as a template for a new one. You do not have to move the mainsheet as the dodger starts just a head of it. You will need a aluminum or SS frame and will have to install some snap buttons on the deckhouse. I think there is still a picture of it and the bimini and cockpit enclosure in the photo archives.The 1/4 berth is too small to be practical for an adult to sleep in and I also use it as a catch-all. It would also be nice to have access to it from above the port seat while in the cockpit. I also store the Koolatron there too, at the entrance to the berth. I think adding a storage system/bins/racks there is a great idea and have also contemplated it. Adding a fold up nav table extension...another good one. Keep up the ideas.Don
