It's been an interesting January. Capped off with being taken to the hospital on Tuesday morning suffering from a heart attack. I was released Wednesday night with a good prognosis (no blockages, and controllable with medication.) And, on Thursday night, my wife helped me get to a talk by Gary Jobson. With luck my recovery will continue to be smooth and I will be back on the water soon. My reason for posting is simple: Please take care of yourself! If things don't feel right, pay attention to it. I was lucky; in shape, relatively young, detected it early, and took aspirin at the first sign of the attack.

In any case, I am VERY HAPPY to be back on line and working my road to recovery.

dang that was a shocker Dan ...i am glad it turned out OK for you ...now get back to full strength so if and when i get on the water and learn how to sail this thing i can say hello in person take car of your self and get a helper when you need to
