Am thinking I might be the owner of a 260 for the longest period..
What a great yacht they are.
Well I'm back from sailing the world skippering a 85' maxi. And happy knowing there are only a few sheets to manage. So perhaps my contribution to this wonderful forum might pick up in time.

Enjoy your boat sir. I did when I was selling, sailing, designing and so no as a dealer. I do miss the 260 experience. I bet you have alot of experience to share and alot of places that many would love to hear about where you went to. Take care and Happy Sail.

Hello Crazy Dave

Dave do you, or anyone else know what this is attached to my new Doyle AS?

Good hearing from you Mark! How long have you had your H260? Are there very many of the water-ballasted Hunters Down Under? BrianW

That's what it is- Doyles version of the tacker, wrap it around your forestay to keep the luff of the AS stable near the bow. People often make their own with a bunch of wooden or plastic balls, makes it easier to jibe
