B43 leak under prop shaft

I have a 2008 B43 and have a leak under the prop shaft where it exits the boat, it is not coming from the volvo seal, that is high and dry. The water (salt) is seeping up from the area under the shaft, it fills the small recessed area after a day. I have read some posts on issues where the intrusion is coming from where the shaft exits into the water. Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

On the assumption that you have located the source
the intrusion is coming from where the shaft exits into the water
Then you are going to need to haul the boat and look at the shaft, the log, and the bearing to address the leak.

I have heard that the sealant between the shaft log and the fiberglass hull sometimes fails causing leaks in that area. You'll probably need to haul, clear the old sealant and replace.
