Our shore power system does not seem to be working. The main light on the box under to the right under the chart table is not on. Can anyone advise if this is a common problem and if so possible causes. Any help wuld be appreciated. Thanks. Dave Roche B331 'Imajica'

Check the bag of the Marinco plug

Assuming that you have checked all the obvious thnigs that could be wrong, check the back of the Marinco plug, to see if the 110v cable is securely connected to it. I found ours to be on the verge of pulling out of the plug assembly. The wires are only held in place by a "set screw" type device. Good Luck. Jack Beneteau 411

Check current coming in

DR if some one you know has a clamp type voltmeter, clamp your shore power line and make sure you are getting 120 V in While this might be too obvious, you might also try plugging a tester into the into the AC plugs to see if you do actually have power They will also give you a reading what the problem might be. If that doesn't work e- mail me at oceanismarine@aol.com and we will try a few other things Charlie
