Ran myself out of propane a couple of weeks ago and took the tank to get it filled. Decided to get a second tank since the locker is designed for two tanks but ran into trouble. Tanks are exactly the same brand and size. Space is tight when slipping these tanks into the locker and it seems the solenoid electrical fitting is blocking the second tank from fitting into the slot on left. This connection moves up and down but is blocked from getting completely out of the way.

Any one have this issue or figure this out before.

Thanks CW

I'm thinking replace the elbow on the bottom with a straight fitting. That should allow you to rotate the solenoid so that the electrical fitting is pointing down and out of the way.

Hi Woody - on mine, using the second tank location is impossible, as there was a recall on the solienoid and the replacement one is a straight fit onto the tank. So I use the second spot for barbeque propane bottles.

We're doing the same thing as Gord--because I saw that the previous owners were doing this. I did purchase an adapter so I can use one of the little bottles as a backup if the main tank runs out.
