Anyone installed a B&G autopilot (with ram attached to steering quadrant) (or any other brand attached directly to quadrant)? If so, how? Thx!

Not BG, and I didn't install it, but since no one else responded, I'll give it a go. Here's pictures of my installation. I believe this is a Jeanneau installation, and its was an autohelm autopilot. I replaced the course computer with Raymarine, but the linear drive, rudder reference and flux compass are original. I have a couple more pictures of the rudder reference if you're interested.

You use an Edson, PYI or other tiller arm. The radial drive is not designed to handle the point loading of an AP. I almost always use the bronze Edson tiller arms. Turn around time is usually under a week. That said a below deck AP on a C-30 is going to take some serious finesse to fit....
