Has anyone installed a below deck autopilot on 1987 thru 1989, 37' Hunter Legend. If so, please send me a diagram or direct me how to. It appears there is no room for the unit. Am I limited to a wheelpilot? Your response is greatly appreciated!
Your link is to the installation of a belowdeck autopilot on an H37C. Quite a lot different in the rudder area I am afraid. But you might get some ideas from Tom's installation. Here is a Related Link to the same question from a few years back. There is an e-mail address. Maybe you could see if he ever was able to install his A5000. I think there are two rudder post areas on the 37.5, one visible and one not so visible. Don't you have to go in from the aft cabin somehow to get to the rudder stuffing box?
