autopilot for Macgregor 26X

wheel autopilots

There was quite a bit of discussion on tiller pilots for the older boats, cant remember discussion on the wheel pilots, but they should much easier to install and use. this site is mostly about X's, maybe try post here...http://macgregorsailors.com/index.php

Sport Pilot (or Sport Pilot Plus) model seems to be the most popular.It is generally the least expensive too.

ST4000 Autohelm

I have a RayMarine ST4000 autohelm system on my Com Pac 27. It's an older version but works extremely well. It's especially valuable for resting or single handing. Will work with any wheel system in my humble opinion.Steve
