I am upgrading the autopilot system on my 2002 Bavaria 40 sailboat. It originally had a Raymarine ST6000 Autopilot system using a cable drive unit linked to the helm wheel by rotary chain. As part of the upgrade to Garmin instruments, I am reusing the drive unit. As part of the configuration of the new system, I need to input a "maximum current approved for the drive unit". While there is an identification plate on the drive unit, it only presents a model # DU080, a serial # GBxxxx, the supply voltage of 12V and the frequency as DC (not AC). I have been unable to find a manufacturer for this original unit so that I can try to track down the info I need.
Does anyone know who the manufacturer of this drive unit might be based on the info above?
