My chain came appart and I lost the link fastener. Any ideas on where to find a replacement fastener. It appears to be stainless steel.

The master link and master key for you drive chain is readily available anywhere motorcycle, etc. chains are sold (I found a replacement in a small hardware store in Morehead City). Call around to local bike stores and hardware outlets.

If the chain is not too short, i.e. you do not need a link, then you can connect the two ends without a special link. Just use a bicycle chain tool, the thing that looks like a miniature press. It has a pin that pushes out the chain pin and then pushes it back in to reconnect. Works on an Edson chain for sure.
