Autohelm

After several years of use our Autohelm 4000 decided that it would only turn the rudder completely in one direction so that the boat turns in a circle. We have checked wiring, fuse, and read the troubleshooting guide to no avail. Has anyone solved a similar (or identical) problem?

Same thing happen to mine

Have the same problem sometimes with my 4000 - cycled power and hit the standby button momentarily and it started working again - but I think it is time to start looking to replace the control head.
