Awhile back I posted some questions about my Autohelm ST4000 giving me a "LOW BATTERY" message. Well, after testing it with jumper cables direct from the house battery and running the drive motor direct from the batteries, I finally decided to send the control head in to Ray Marine. Although it was expensive and it took over a month to get it back, they had to replace the entire circuit board. My suspicion is that I was hit by lightning.Although it cost $300, I am happy to have my Autohelm back on the boat and fully operational again. It sure makes things easy when I single-handedly sail our Hunter 335.There were so many helpful posts here on HunterOwners.com and I just wanted to thank everyone who responded.Happy Again,Cap'n BrentS/V Elena Luahttp://www.elenalua.homestead.com
