I've just purchased a boat that came equipped with a ST-50 Wind & Close Hauled and ST-50 Tridata & Repeater Instruments. The Tridata works fine but the Wind & Close Hauled will not calibrate for direction or give wind speed. I've called the factory and they gave me the voltage that should be going to the W&CH but when I checked mine the voltage was a lot higher. Has anyone had this problem? The factory said to pack it up and send it to them.

Boat Show Mode

I had a similar problem and the wind instrument was in Boat Show Mode. I don't remember the sequence/combination of buttons to get it out of this mode, but it is documented towards the back of the manual. I hope this helps.
