Autohelm ST 1000 Question

Any owners of a 1995 Autohelm ST 1000 who still have the owner's manual? I need to know the procedure to switch the unit from Portsteering to Starboard steering. I checked a newer model owner's manualthat said to hold down the +1 and the -1 for five seconds, but that dosn'twork on my model. My model the the one without a digital display.

Autotack Function

I have a Autohelm 1000 and to initiate a port tack I must press the -1 & -10 keys together at once. Similarly, the +1 & +10 keys pressed will give a starboard tack.Hope this helps.

The Answer

I talked with Autohelm, the looked up my model and the answer is:On the bottom of the unit is a small screw in the center of the unit, remove thatscrew. Then using a smaller screwdriver inside the unit trun small screw onthe CO board inside of the unit. Lastly replace the screw in the case. Now theunit works on the Starboard side of the tiller.
