Purchased a new Hunter 310 and want to install a Autohelm 4000. The boat comes with a "console" vs. a pedestal steering column. The console contains a vhf and the autoppilot instructions call for the brain to be no closer than 3' to the radio. This seems to preclude the console location. Where is the easiest and best location to mount this unit? Any tips or advice is appreciated..
