Is anyone using something other than an Icom Auto Turner on their boat? Maybe a SGC, or LDG, MFJ, or even SEA tuners?

Which turner are you using and why that particular tuner?

Here's what I've been using for the past 2 yrs. no problems.

Sully, never heard of that one. I did look it up and found out the guy went out of business because of Sandy. That's too bad.

I just bought a MFJ929 used and it works really great. I can tune all the ham bands with it. My previous tuner would only tune some of the band.

Now I have a new problem with the radio. VCO/PLL unlock at power up and I have to wait a good 30 seconds for it to lock. Time to retire this radio and get a different one. One think after another.
