I want to buy an Auto pilot for my 28 Hunter, Wheel Configuration. I don't know which one to purchase. I would appreciate any tips and ideas. I sail Lake Erie (so far). Thanks in advance (again) Happy sailing to all. Tom

Hi Tom, I was very happy with the ST4000...
Raymarine AP that I installed on our 1989 H28. I wrote several articles about the installation that you can find in the archives. If you are so inclined, with a modest set of tools, I installed ours in about six hours. I would be happy to answer any questions if this is the route you decide. Terry

If you get the ST4000, add rudder sensor...
for a few xtra bucks. Many people do without... a few of us had problems without it. I do not know if this is an issue on your boat..but it was on my H36. abe
