I HAVE AN ST6000 AUTOPILOT AND RECENTLY A PROBLEM HAS ARISEN WHEREBY WHEN I PUT IT IN STANDY THE DRIVE DOES NOT DISENGAGE UNLESS I GIVE THE WHEEL A GOOD JERK. I CHECKED FOR ANY BINDING IN WHEEL SYSTEM AND ALL IS OK WHAT DO I NEED TO LOOK AT, OR GET REPAIRED.

Clutch?

The linear and rotary drives have an electromechanical clutch. It sounds like you have an issue with this clutch. I would suggest having the drive unit looked at immediately. By default (without power), the clutch should obviously be disengaged.
