Are you going to stay in the bay? If not long range sailing in big open seas then I think a wheelpilot is the best option. In which case the most recent model of the Raymarine series is all that there is.

Otherwise for much more money a below decks autohelm is what you want. I'm not sure what Practical Sailor likes but it would not be a Raymarine.

Should add that I have been sailing with the same wheelpilot for twelve years. And a lot of long distance in open water. But it is a Simrad and no longer produced.

I had a raymarine wheel pilot (ST4000) on my Legend 35.5. Just about worthless in a blow (20+) when coastal. It's fine in protected waters but still requires attention in a blow. The performance is improved with the grey drive unit instead of the black one.
Currently have a Raymarine ST6002+ (below deck) on a bigger and much heavier boat. Incredible difference. 25 knots in LI Sound - going to windward, running, beam reaching - no problem. It is installed with linear drive and a rudder position sensor.
