August in the Pacific Northwest

Is anyone planning a trip to the Pacific Northwest in August. I'm thinking San Juans, middle Puget Sound, North Puget Sound, Gulf Islands, or ???

It could be fun if some of us could meet.

Seafair is in the beginning of August which I'm definetly going to but if its say mid or late August I'd be down. I've been trying to figure out a 2 week San Juan Island trip this summer...

The admiral just booked us an Alaska cruise so I guess we'll be skipping the San Jauns this summer. Have to go next year.

I'm also near Anacortes so I will be spending a week or so out in the San Juans this summer. It's great to live in a place with such great cruising grounds in our back yards?

We are busy the last weekend of July (I organize the Aquafest $50 Boat Race http://www.aquafest.org/events/50boatrace.asp) but after that we pretty much have August open.
