Can't remember attachment point for CDI Roller furler on H26WB. Have 2 choices..Flat SS that extends above the deck or round SS that resembles an "eye" or "bight" that's about 4 " lower than the deck. Didn't see any mention in the owners manual. Can anyone help? Thanks !!!

If I understand your question correctly...

...it attaches to the pad eye (u-shapped fitting) at the bow. However, if you have a 4/6 drum then you need a length of a pair of tangs (flat steel with holes)to extend the drum above the deck or it will not fit. In addition, the forestay needs to have been shortened to make up for the additional length of the tangs. From my readings here and looking at my own boat this was not done in many cases. A size 2 drum fits without the extention (at least in the 260 which is a little different). The flat steel fitting I have been told is for the tack of a hanked on head sail. alan

Confirm

Alan's comments agree with the installation of the CDI II on my 26WB.

Dick I was wrong

I was thinking of the 260. The 26 if your has the roller furling should have two tangs or metal straps and they attach to a u bolt or pad eye on the bow of the boat. Sorry about that
