Boom Vang 'Yokes'
Check out WM for stainless steel 'U' shaped yokes. Measure the width of the boom for the open end of the first yoke; drill a hole for a 1/4 or 5/16" thru bolt on the centerline of the boom a distance back from the gooseneck about 1.5 times the height of the bottom of the boom from the deck. Add the second yoke to the thru blot that attaches the mast to the mast base tabernacle; connect the boom vang to the two yokes with the operating becket on the lower end so you can snap the line down out of the cams.
