One of the new boat toys I purchased this past winter was a Garmin 176C GPS. I've played with it in the car and it works great. I was looking at the marine mounting attachment and without having the helm right in front of me, don't see how this attaches to the helm. Do you attach it to the SS behind the wheel? on the console? Do I need additional parts? What have others experienced? Thanks in advance, and come on spring!

SNAP-IT

I bought the same model. I had to by another piece to mount it on my binicle. Most of the catalogs offer something. In the WM catalog they have a platform mount from SNAP-IT that costs about $25. I ended up doing a Google search, found the company, and purchased direct from them. Good luck. JM

Exactly - Where do I get one?

I like that set-up, where did you get the arm?
