Any ideas on how to attach a MOB (Man Over Board) pole to a Hunter 36 since there is no backstay and that is the recommended place.

Clamp a PVC pipe to rear stanchion like I have seen many sailboaters have done and that's what I did on a trip from NY to Florida,but don't have one on my boat now,I carry throwable life ring.
