Atta boy

I have to give an "Atta Boy" to the people at Hunter Marine. My local dealer has gone out of business and as I had several items that needed warranty work, I was concerned about where it would come from. Hunter has been VERY responsive in correcting deficiencies, mostly from the dealer, and bringing LegaSea up to their standards. I want to thank them and pass on their responsiveness to others who may be concerned about a boat that is not near a dealer.

I'm curious ...

Who was the dealer? And, isn't a new one covering that area? I'm from NC (part-time) so I have an interest.

The dealer was Strictly Nautical near Charlotte. I think the dealer covering this area now is in the Beaufort or New Bern area, 5 to 6 hours from here.

I had the same experience

My dealer also went under. As a matter of fact, Hunter took away my dealers licence before I took delivery of my H310. I had a lot of commishioning issues that the dealer either failed at(f-up), or just did not want to even do them. The boat was not finished when I was told to get it off their docks. My wife and I were not very happy when we left that dock, that day on our brand new boat. As a matter of fact, we were very angery as we sailed away. The Hunter Team made sure we got happy with our new boat. Hunter, in particular Greg Emerson and Jim Bohart took care of "all" of the commishioning and warrenty issues that we had. In no time, we had subcontractors all over our boat to finish what wasn't done during the commishioning and fixing what was done wrong and handled all of the warrenty issues. Hunter really does go the distance and they really take care of their customers. Thank you again Greg Emerson and thanks Hunter Marine Inc. And if you are reading this, Thank you Jim Bohart, you were a big help and thanks for flying up to see my wife and I and getting the ball rolling. Steve, s/v The Odyssey, H310

Doug is right, call Dave.

That's why I was curious, I thought Dave Condon is nearby. Although I think he specializes in smaller Hunters, he's a great guy. IMHO, if possible, make him your Hunter dealer/contact.
