Atomic 4 slipping out of gear??

I have an Atomic 4, runs great. However every now and again the engine seems as though it slips out of gear and revs up while at full throttle. I have so far been able to slow the engine back down, shove on the gear lever a little and continue at slower speed. Usually when I throttle back up everything holds fine. It only happens occasionally. Any idea what the problem may be??

Yep

Ahoy Greg; Yer clutch needs adjusting. It is in the tranny. You remove the plate and there is a ring that has to be turned a notch or two. Go to this site and the detailed directions are there. In fact it's the whole manual. Fair Winds Cap'n Dave
