Hi all,
Since last year I've been dreading starting my Atomic 4 because I was told it leaked at the head gasket. Now everyone should have a friend like Howard because I got Howard to help me start the boat motor. We put the raw water hose in a bucket of water and made a sluice for the exhaust. It took a while to clean the plugs, chat about motors, and get it started. Because it's on the hard we had to spray the packing and cutlass bearing with water to lube them. It ran pulling 10 gallons through system with the only leak being a drip at the water pump. This is really a load off my mind since we don't have to remove the head or exhaut system. Howards a great guy and I know Moyer Marine will explain how to stop the pump from leaking.
All U Get

I also put a vented loop in my electric bilge line.

If it's not something as simple as a gasket, the pumps at Moyer are reasonable. If you're going to buy just the gasket or the pump, the Quick Release cover was a good investment for us, as was the bolt extender in the C30.
