Hi Everyone, Hope the warm weather here on the east coast has you watchin the winds. Wife and I went to the Atlantic City show this last weekend, actually just Friday. First it is not as big as the Annapolis show but that suited us just fine. Joan and I were able to walk around talking to the vendors getting good information on their products and what would help us. Fun being able to see the different boats and not having the feeling we were being pushed around by the crowd. Saw Bob Bitchin and Jody from "Latitude and Attitudes", they still remember the Hunter Rendezvous at Solomons two years ago. Met Glen Henderson the designer of the H356, a very proud parent. Party at 6:00 was great plenty of wine and beer and food. Hunter did a great job of promoting their line of boats. Joan was talking to a couple who where thinking about buying a H240, by the time Joan got through with them, the lady of the group was ready to sign and put money down on the boat. So Rick! Joan is looking for a cut of the finders fee!!! My wife and I were so impressed with this show that we will probably not go to the Annapolis show again. If anyone went on Sat or Sun I would like to hear how the crowds were on those days, Fri was great. Jim S/V Java

Bigger crowds Saturday

We went both Friday and Saturday. Lots more people on Saturday. We ran into friends on Friday and did not get to many booths that day, so had to fight the crowds on Saturday. More folks at the seminars on Saturday, too. Stayed till closing both days and found getting around a lot easier then. Next time will try to go both weekdays and skip the weekend although the Cruising World seminar on Saturday morning was excellent.
