I am adding a asmmmetrical spinnaker to my Oceanis 281 and am unsure how to locate the deck hardware such as placement of the padeye and connection of the stroup, etc. I would really appreciate any help--Beneteau supplied me with all the parts but couldn't supply "assembly" info. Thanks, Chip O'Shea

How we set ours up...

Hey Chip, we have a cruising spinnaker on a Oceanis 361 and love it... the only hardware we use with it is 3 blocks: - on on the anchor roller - one on each side at the 3rd last hole in the toerail I heard that the anchor might not be the best place as it might loosen that plate but we never sail that hard with it so we'r going by what Neil Pryde said. the front block is there to adujst the height of the sail, useful when going deep/high. also we have a sock but use the cleats to tie everything off. Asymmetrical spinnaker

Hey Chip, I was thinking about doing the same thing to my 281. I'd sure appreciate it if once you get it up and running, you place a post explaining what you did, sail size etc. Thanks Bill
