I have a pretty good idea for rigging an asym for my 280 except for the installation of a winch or swivel cam cleat or ? for the spinnaker sheet. I've read of one instance where the sheets were led to the cabin top winches but that doesn't seem to be a good idea. Even the sailor who posted that was not too happy with the results. I'd have no issue with installing some lewmar 14's or 16's on the coaming but it looks like the angles are wrong for a sheet led thru a block attached to the stern rail loop then to a coaming winch as designed. The coaming winch looks fine for the standard genoa track installation at the forward section of the coaming. Winches are supposed to have ~ -10* or so of "lead" to prevent overwrapping and the angle of the coaming looks like it wouldn't support that (without a pad). Any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks a BUNCH.Clark
