Assymatrical Spinnaker

When raising the sock I tie off the control lines to the whisker pole eye on the mast. I tie this off with a slip knot and often have difficulty undoing this line. Any suggestions? I have a Catalina 28.Neil

Hi Neil, Thanks for joining the Doyle Forum.You should not have a problem as long as you leave some slack in the control lines, they don't need to be tight.Try a clove hitch with a slip loop.
