Hi Peggie..A friend just bought a 45 powerboat and wants to replace the forward head with a vacuflush or one of the other "fresh water" flush heads. He also wants to put the holding tank for that head under the cockpit. That seems to me to be too far from the head. How far from the head can the holding tank be located? Thanks.

That's waaay too far!

10' is the max...and I'd rather see 6' or less. Have your friend e-mail me (or you, if he doesn't have e-mail) and I'll send him some files that should answer his questions and keep him from creating more problems than he solves. peghall@bellsouth.net
