I'm in the process of re-doing the non-skid on my '82 H27. I'm using Interlux Brightside Polyurethane (Kingston Grey) with Interlux Nonskid Compound at 8 oz/. per quart. I'm about half way through the project (takes a good two days of REALLY hard work), and, I've got to say, the results are pretty damn dramatic. The boat looks REALLY nice. Can't wait 'till it's finished. All my neighbors want me to re-do theirs (no way...this is the LAST time I ever do non-skid). Try it and just follow the directions on the can...it's actually pretty easy...it's the masking part that stinks. For what it's worth...

Sorry...this was supposed to end up...

In the mailbox of the guy who is thinking of redoing his nonskid...I'm great with boats, lousy with computers...

Hey Tim, good news!

I am doing the same thing with the same paint and non-skid except I am using Off-white as the color. So far I have only done the cockpit seats as a test. So it's good to hear how pleased that you are. Problem is that I have another ten feet(H37C)!

Tim, any chance that we can see it?

We may have to be in Detroit in mid-August and will come over from Columbus and/or Sandusky. We are looking at doing the same project this Fall. We really would like to see someone that has (or is) doing the non-skid. Directions? Direct email to me: jwk@towerconnections.com Thanks! Jay Kent Seas The Sail Dock of the Bay Sandusky, Ohio
